Meredith Wilcke graduated from Brooks Institute of Photography in 2004 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Portraiture. She is married to Nathan and has two extraordinary children, James and Kaitlyn. She is a mom first, then a photographer.
Meredith is happy to be diving back in to photography after taking a few years off to get married and have kids. She is in love with natural light photography for portraiture, and also enjoys travel and nature photography.
Meredith is emphasizing on photographing children, families, babies and expectant mothers. She captures people in their own natural state. Babies and kids are unpredictable, and Meredith loves to be able to make kids grin and giggle! She thrives on the good moods and the bad moods, the grins and the frowns, and even loves drool. Meredith photographs the moment in time, as naturally as possible, joining in the fun right along with her subjects.
Meredith is strict when it comes to the images that make the cut... she prides herself on perfect images. Each one has to be exquisite and range from the deep blacks to the whitest whites.
Meredith is a member of Professional Photographers of America (PPA) and American Society of Media Photographers (ASMP). These organizations help Meredith keep educated in the latest happenings and techniques in the photographic world.
Meredith also loves to shoot food, editorial portraiture, commercial work, business head shots and stock photography. Please inquire if you need a professional photographer for these services.
Meredith would like to thank the following photographers who have taught her and inspired her to follow her dream:
Joyce Wilson, Mindy Myers, Ana Schechter, Bob Smith, Ralph Clevenger, Dean DePhillipo, Greg Voight,
Paul Meyer, Rob Winner, Ann Montieth, Carol Andrews, Curt Stahr and (last but NOT least!) Damon Tucci.
