Congratulations! It’s the day you have dreamed of all of your life, and now it’s here. You don’t want to forget one thing, you don’t want to overlook one detail. You should not have to worry about one thing on your wedding day, which is why hiring a professional photographer is extremely important.

Finding the right photographer takes a lot of time and research. You should pick one that fits your style and personality. You should also make sure you get along well with the photographer since he or she will be a huge part of your most special day.

What I offer:
There are different types of wedding coverage based on what you’d like to have photographed and your budget. Most of the brides I work with choose 8 hours of coverage. This allows me to get great shots of the bride and groom preparing for their day through the ceremony and reception. Products that I offer for wedding photography include premium hard bound albums with images on the cover, DVD slideshows, fine art canvas gallery wraps, framed prints and individual prints. If there is a specific product you would like me to create, we would discuss this during the consultation.

A word on style:
There is a lot of talk among brides about wanting photojournalistic photography on their wedding day instead of posed shots. My style is between these two categories. I mostly shoot what is happening in a natural, unforced manner. However, there are times I will make suggestions to individuals or groups of people to pose in a more flattering or emotional way. I suggest key things to think about when looking into the camera that will make you look and feel your best, all while bringing out that spark between you and your fiance. When you put your trust in a professional photographer, you know that if the posing is done correctly, the photographs will not look posed at all.

Choosing wisely:
In the digital age, as access to professional quality cameras becomes increasingly easier, consumers should remain wary when selecting a professional photographer. Many new photographers are emerging every day, setting up websites and charging for services which are not professional in quality and for which they have little to no training. When you hire a professional photographer with a good reputation, great products, keen eye, professional process and appropriate pricing, you lift the burden of worry.
